I am an experienced Person-centred and Emotion Focused therapist, supervisor and trainer, as well as a co-founding board member of the Scottish Institute for Emotion Focused Therapy (SI-EFT). I deliver Emotion Focused Therapy training, both under SI-EFT and as a Guest Lecturer at Strathclyde University. I offer individual therapy and clinical supervision as part of the team at Clyde Therapy Services.
I am bringing many years of experience in working with clients from various charity and private sector settings, in a therapist and clinical lead role. I am experienced in working with a wide variety of difficulties: depression, perinatal depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, trauma, abuse, bereavement, difficulties around loss/change, identity issues, borderline processes. I am currently dividing my working hours between seeing clients, clinical supervisees, teaching Emotion Focused Psychotherapy and concluding an MPhil in Counselling. I am a Registered and Accredited Member of BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework.
